1 Scope
1.1 This Rule is applicable to seismic design of non-buried pipe for petrochemical industry, with seismic fortification intensity of Degree 6 ~ Degree 9 and nominal pressure less than or equal to 42MPa.
Note: for the purpose of this code, words "seismic fortification intensity" are generally omitted, e.g. "seismic fortification intensity of Degree 6, Degree 7, Degree 8 or Degree 9" is referred to as "Intensity 6, Intensity 7, Intensity 8 or Intensity 9".
1.2 This Rule is not applicable to seismic design of long-distance pipe.
