本标准规定了针织物经洗涤后歪斜程度的测定方法。
本标准适用于评价针织物经一次洗涤(指一次洗涤和一次干燥的过程)后的歪斜程度，也适用于评价针织物经多次洗涤(指多次洗涤和多次干燥的过程)后的歪斜程度，常用的有一次、三次或十次。
测定机织物经洗涤后的歪斜程度也可参照本标准。
