The regulation for train traction calculation specifies the traction calculation method and the main technical parameters adopted and it is served as the basis for determining the tractive tonnage, running velocity and running time and for calculating the power, fuel, coal and water consumption of locomotives.
This regulation is applicable to the traction calculation of trains with standard rail gauge of 1,435mm.
