Foreword
This standard is developed in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard is modified in relation to GB 18428-2010 Glass bulbs used for automatic fire extinguishing systems.
The following main changes have been made with respect to GB 18428-2010:
——The nominal action temperature of glass bulb is different, which is 110°C in this standard according to the operating temperature of pressure relief devices of gas cylinders;
——The definitions and test-related requirements of fast response glass bulb and standard response glass bulb are deleted;
——The light fading test and the working solution volatilization test are deleted.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. The issuing body of this document shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document was proposed by and is under the jurisdiction of the Cylinder Safety Standardization and Information Working Committee of China Association for Technical Supervision Information.
Technical conditions of glass bulbs used for pressure relief devices of gas cylinders
