Prescription sunglasses and lenses
1 Scope
This document specifies the requirements, test methods as well as marking, packaging, transport and storage of prescription sunglasses and lenses.
This document is applicable to prescription sunglasses and lenses for general purpose, including sunglasses lenses with tinted base lens and film.
This document is not applicable to lenses for protection against radiation from artificial light sources, such as those used in solaria, goggles for industrial use, or special lenses intended for direct observation of the sun, such as for viewing a solar eclipse.
