本标准规定了用经典的宏量肉汤稀释方法(Broth Macrodilution method)检测抗酵母样真菌的最低抑菌浓度(Minimal Inhibitory Concentration, MIC)的参考方法,并推荐了与本参考方法结果具有良好一致性的微量肉汤稀释方法(Broth Microdilution method)。
本标准适用于引起感染的酵母样真菌(包括念珠菌属某些种Candida spp.和隐球菌属某些种
Cryptococcus spp.)的药物敏感性试验,并推荐了某些相关抗真菌药物的肉汤稀释试验的最低抑菌浓度(MIC)质控参考范围、折点、结果解释性分类和流行病学界值。
本标准不适用于双相真菌如皮炎芽生菌Blastomyces dermatitidis、荚膜组织胞浆菌Histoplasma capsulatum及丝状真菌的检测。
