1.0.1 This code is prepared for the purpose of making the sprayed concrete construction be in accordance with the requirements of advanced technology, economic rationality, guaranteed quality and safety.
1.0.2 Sprayed concrete has two types of construction methods, namely dry mixture spraying and wet mixture spraying. This code is prepared according to the dry mixture spraying construction method which is widely adopted in China at present.
1.0.3 This code is applicable to sprayed concrete construction for supporting of various underground engineering, for repairing and strengthening of buildings, side slope treatment as well as water tanks and thin shell structures.
1.0.4 Sprayed concrete construction shall be carried out according to the design requirements. Prior to construction, a construction organization design shall be developed, and preparation shall be enough so as to guarantee smooth construction.
1.0.5 Sprayed concrete construction shall not only comply with the requirements of this code, but also shall be implemented in accordance with relevant current national standards and codes.
