1 Scope
This standard specifies the testing methods for CDMA digital cellular mobile communication network ME-UIM Card Interface, including testing methods and judgment criteria for electricity, protocol, security and application, etc. It does not include the content of the UIM-ME application toolbox.
It is applicable to terminal equipment using user identify module (UIM) in CDMA digital cellular mobile communication network.

4 Test Conditions
4.1 General
The test on the ME will confirm the following in sequence:
1) ME is able to correctly read the data in the R-UIM
2) ME is able to correctly write the data to the R-UIM;
3) ME is able to properly originate appropriate procedures;
4) the underlying protocol;
5) electrical feature;
6) physical feature.
All tests are applicable to the ME which meets requirements of Technical Specification for CDMA Digital Cellular Mobile Communication Network User Identify Module (UIM), and uses Type ID-1 or Type Plug-in R-UIM.
The R-UIM simulator will be a part of the System Simulator (SS). In order to perform a logic feature test, special data needs to be programmed into the R-UIM. If the data in the R-UIM differs from the defaults defined below, the required data will be declared in the initial test condition.
4.1.1 EFCST (CDMA Service List)
Unless otherwise defined, the CDMA service list shall be numbered in accordance with "EFCST Setting 1” of Table 1.
