1 Scope
This standard specifies measurement method for radiated RF power and receiver performance of 2GHz TD-SCDMA mobile stations, including frequency range and limits.
It is applicable to portable 2GHz TD-SCDMA mobile stations, vehicle-mounted ones as well as those powered by AC power and used at fixed position and the 2GHz TD-SCDMA data equipment that is connected to portable computer via USB interface, Express interface, PCMCIA interface and the like.
2 Normative References
The following normative documents contain provisions which, through reference in this standard, constitute provisions of this standard. For dated references, subsequent amendments (excluding corrections), or revisions, of any of these publications do not apply to this standard. However, parties to agreements based on this standard are encouraged to investigate the possibility of applying the most recent editions of the normative documents indicated below. For undated references, the latest edition of the normative document referred to applies.

3 Terms, Definitions and Abbreviations
For the purposes of this standard, the following terms, definitions and abbreviations apply.
3.1 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this standard, terms and definitions given in YD/T 1484 apply.
3.2 Abbreviations
For the purposes of this standard, abbreviations given in YD/T 1484 apply.
4 Test Conditions
Except for the following special instructions, test conditions given in YD/T 1484 apply to this standard.
4.1 Coordinate System
For the purposes of this standard, coordinate systems given in YD/T 1484 apply.
4.2 General Measurement Conditions
Except as provided below, general measurement conditions given in YD/T 1484 apply to this standard and the measurement system needs to meet the requirements of Annex A of this standard.
According to the type of EUT, except for test configuration for free space, human head model, direct insertion of mobile station into laptop and connection of EUT with laptop via cable, as given in YD/T 1484, test under mannequin mode in data service shall be carried out according to the following requirements.
4.2.1 Human body equipment mode in data service
Where EUT is palmtop computer, PDA, small game equipment, multimedia wireless handheld terminal and the like, test under human body equipment mode is required. Human body equipment mode mainly includes human hand, head and their space combination, as shown in Figure 1. Human body equipment is placed in XYZ positioning system, the coordinate center is at Point O, i.e. the point on EUT antenna and on the extension line from ear point RE to the midpoint, Point M, of upper lip, taking MO=30cm; in this case +Z axis points to the top of the human head model, define +X axis and +Y axis by right-hand rule and hold the EUT by single hand or two hands.
