YD/T 5040-2005 Design Specifications of Engineering for Telecommunication Power Supply Equipment Installation (excluding the Annexes) (English Version)
1 General
1.0.1 This specification is applicable to the newly-built telecommunication power supply equipment installation. Extension and reconstruction engineering may refer to this specification.
1.0.2 Telecommunication power supply equipment installation design must implement the national technical policies, rationally utilize resource, and comply with the requirements of relevant national standards on aerial defense, shock resistance, firefighting and environmental protection etc.
1.0.3 Telecommunication power supply equipment installation design must take into account the convenience of installation, maintenance and use under the premise of ensuring power supply quality, and pay attention to the telecommunication security under special conditions such as wars or natural disasters etc.
1.0.4 The telecommunication equipments adopted in engineering design shall have the telecommunication equipment network access license issued by the Ministry of Information Industry. The equipments without telecommunication equipment network access license issued by the Ministry of Information Industry shall not be used in the engineering.
The transmission and exchange equipments, as well as telecommunication power supplies etc., which are used in public telecommunication networks of the areas with the seismic fortification intensity of 7 in our country, shall have telecommunication equipment seismic performance testing quality certificates issued by the Ministry of Information Industry, and the telecommunication equipments without telecommunication equipment seismic performance testing quality certificate issued by the Ministry of Information Industry shall not be used in the engineering.
1.0.5 Short-term construction scale such as overall scheme and equipment selection shall be combined with long-term development plan, besides, multi-scheme technical and economical comparison shall be carried out according to factors such as construction and development conditions, economic effect, equipment service life and the possibility of extension and reconstruction, in order to select the scheme with high reliability, low construction cost and maintenance cost.
1.0.6 The design shall be practical, technologically advanced, economical and rational, safe and usable. The extension and reconstruction engineering shall take full consideration of the characteristics of the former telecommunication equipments, rationally use the former buildings, equipments and materials, and positively take innovative measures, in order to reach the objective of advanced, applicable and economical.
1.0.7 When this specification conflicts with relevant national standards and specifications, it shall be subject to national standards and specifications. When it is difficult to implement some provision of this specification, sufficient reasons shall be stated in the design and shall be examined and approved by competent department.
