1.0.1 This code is formulated with a view to unify non-ferrous metallurgical industry construction and technical requirements of geotechnical engineering investigation, and to go through with national related technical economy policy to catch up with safety and usability, state-of-art technology, economy and rationality, as well as guarantee quality.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to geotechnical engineering investigation of non-ferrous metallurgy industry engineering construction, similar work in other industries can also refer to this code.
1.0.3 Each item of engineering construction in non-ferrous metallurgy industry must be done with geotechnical engineering investigation before the designing and construction. The exploration phase shall be in accordance with design phase.
1.0.4 Geotechnical engineering investigation can be divided into: feasibility study, preliminary and detailed investigation. Each phase investigation result shall be in accordance with the correspondence design phase requirements.
1.0.5 Geotechnical engineering investigation shall not only the requirements stipulated in this code, but also those in the current relevant ones of the nations shall be complied with.
