本标准规定了钨钼合金中钼含量的测定方法。
本标准适用于钨钼合金中钼含量的测定。测定范围：20%~80%。
本标准代替YS/T 508-2006《钨钼合金化学分析方法EDTA 容量法测定钼量》（原GB/T 3825-1983）。
本标准与YS/T 508-2006比较，主要有以下变动：
———在“3试剂”中增加了过硫酸铵、硝酸、盐酸、铬黑Ｔ 及其配制方法、溴甲酚绿乙醇溶液的配制方法和要求；
———将原溶液质量体积浓度单位“％”修改为“g/L”；
———将“3.17硝酸铋标准溶液”中硝酸加入量由50mL 增加至80mL，即将溶液中硝酸介质的浓度由约0.2mol/L 提高至约0.3mol/L；
———考虑样品溶解时间，将“4.1”中“过100目（149μｍ）”改为“过125μｍ（120目）”；
———如果将溶解样品放置到冷却，溶液将全部结晶，不利于试验操作，故将“5.3.2”中“冷却”改为“稍冷”；
———将5.3.2中“边搅拌边滴加10mL~15mL 氢氧化铵（3.4）”改为“边搅拌边滴加10mL~15mL 氢氧化铵（3.4）至溶液清亮”；
———将5.3.7中“稍冷”改为“冷却”；
———对标准中的公式进行了规范化的修订，增加了相关说明，消除了原公式中的歧义；
———增加了前言、精密度及质量保证和控制内容。
