1 Scope
This standard specifies the determination method of the content of silicon dioxide, ferric oxide, sodium oxide, potassium oxide, copper oxide, magnesium oxide, calcium oxide, chromic oxide, vanadium pentoxide, zinc oxide, titanium dioxide, manganese oxide and gallium sesquioxide in alumina.
This standard is applicable to the determination method of the content of silicon dioxide, ferric oxide, sodium oxide, potassium oxide, copper oxide, magnesium oxide, calcium oxide, chromic oxide, vanadium pentoxide, zinc oxide, titanium dioxide, manganese oxide and gallium sesquioxide in alumina. The determination scope is detailed in Table 1.

GB/T 602—2002 Chemical reagent--Preparations of standard solutions for impurity(ISO 6353—1:1982 NEQ).
3 Method Principle
Under the action of microwave digestion apparatus, the specimen digested by sulfuric acid in high pressure and high temperature, induct the test solution into argon plasma, under the selected optimum operation condition, use inductively coupled plasma spectrometer to determine, and calibrate the matrix influence on the determination in matrix matching method.
