本标准代替YY 0330-2002《医用脱脂棉》。
本标准规定了医用脱脂棉的要求。
本标准适用于采用棉葵草棉属植物成熟种子的毛茸，经除去夹杂物，脱脂、漂白、加工而成的不含任何有色添加物质的医用脱脂棉。医用脱脂棉主要供医院临床作敷料用。
