1 Scope
This document specifies the requirements and test methods for materials of preformed barrier systems and packaging systems that are intended to maintain sterility of terminally sterilized medical devices until the point of use.
This document is applicable to the performance determination of plain paper wraps, creped paper wraps and nonwoven wraps intended to be disposable, as well as textile wraps intended to be reusable.
