1 General Provisions
1.0.1 This Specification is formulated with a view to improving the technical level of electrical & automation system in city drainage industry of China, normalizing the construction standard of electrical & automation engineering in city drainage and sewage treatment construction and improving construction investment benefits and production and labour environment.
1.0.2 This Specification is applicable to design, construction and acceptance of power supply and distribution system and automatic operation control system of city rainwater and sewage pumping station or sewage treatment plant, data acquisition and control system of drainage pump station group or central monitoring system of regional drainage engineering.
1.0.3 The automaticity of drainage and sewage treatment project operation shall be determined according to management demand, quality and supply situation of equipment and apparatus, in combination with local actual conditions and through comprehensive technical and economical comparison.
1.0.4 As for electrical & automation engineering for city drainage system, it shall not only comply with this Specification but also current relevant standards of the nation during design, construction and acceptance.
2 Terminologies, Symbols and Codes
2.1 Terminologies
2.1.1 Instantaneous flow rate
Flow rate at certain moment.
2.1.2 Accumulated flow rate
Total flow rate during certain time period.
2.1.3 Operation interface
Medium for work interaction between operation personnel and computer.
2.1.4 Data acquisition
Digitalization of the site signals (analog quantity, discrete quantity and frequency) which will be input to the computer according to preset rate.
2.1.5 Data processing
Calculation or conversion of the acquired data according to certain rule.
2.1.6 Interface
Intersection of two different systems.
2.1.7 Site control
Manual control on equipment control box nearby the equipment installation position (control independent of automatic control system).
2.1.8 Panel control
Manual control carried out on motor power distribution control panel or MCC panel. In case motor power distribution control panel or MCC panel is arranged nearby the site equipment, it may be used to replace site control.
2.1.9 Local control
Completion of such works as information acquisition, instruction execution as well as monitoring scheme implementation within this area with PLC as the core component.
2.1.10 Local manual
Control of equipment manually by pressing touch screen or buttons on site control station or RTU (remote terminal unit) cabinet panel.
2.1.11 Local automation
Control of equipment through automatic controller and software of site control station.
2.1.12 Remote control
Data acquisition, command or control functions of equipment and instruments within remote area through wire or wireless telecommunication.
2.1.13 Local control station
Equipment with PLC as core component and mainly responsible for works involving in information collection, instruction execution as well as monitoring scheme implementation relevant to equipment monitoring system within certain area of pump station or sewage treatment plant.
2.1.14 Remote terminal unit (RTU)
Control station set in a control system and in relation to control center; generally, it takes PLC as core component and is mainly responsible for monitoring as well as relevant information collection, instruction execution and monitoring scheme implementation of equipment far away from the control center.
2.1.15 Equipment layer
Site equipment and site instruments, which are connected to control layer through bus or hard wiring.
2.1.16 Control layer
It consists of local controllers distributed in various areas and looped network (or star network) connecting control center and the controllers.
2.1.17 Information layer
Links and equipment for upper-layer data transmission in the entire system.
2.1.18 Information center
Site divided by drainage system or region and administering the acquisition, processing and display of states and process parameters of equipment in pump stations and sewage treatment plant within the drainage system or region.
2.1.19 Area control center
Site divided according to geographical location, administering partial pump stations, with functions of information acquisition, processing, display and control command issuance as well as master station control.
2.1.20 Remote sub station
Remote terminal certain distance away from the master station and connected through wire or wireless telecommunication.
