1 General Provisions
1.0.1 This code is prepared with view to improving the environment of urban railway transit station platform, enhancing the train operation safety and standardizing the technical requirements of platform screen door system of urban railway transit, so as to make the system economical, suitable and advanced in technology.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to the design, installation, acceptance and maintenance of newly-built and retrofitted and renovated platform screen door system to the existing railways of urban railway transit work.
1.0.3 Prior to retrofitting and renovation of platform screen door system to the existing railways, the civil structures and relevant electromechanical system interface conditions of the retrofitted and renovated station shall be confirmed.
1.0.4 Prior to installation of platform screen door system, prototype should be produced and shall pass the testing.
1.0.5 The platform screen door system of urban railway transit shall not only meet the requirements of this code, but also those in the current relevant standards of the nation.
2 Terms
2.0.1 Platform screen door
Continuous barrier which is set at the platform edge to separate the passenger’s waiting area from the train operation area and corresponding to train door, and can control the opening and closing of sliding door in a multi-level way. It is classified into full-height, half-height, closed and unclosed ones, hereinafter referred to as platform screen door.
2.0.2 Emergency escape door
The door for evacuation in case that the train door cannot align with the sliding door.
2.0.3 Platform end door
The door which is set at both ends of the platform screen door for getting in and out of the rail zone.
2.0.4 Door mechanism
The mechanism to open and close the sliding door.
2.0.5 Door control unit
The device to control the door mechanism locally.
2.0.6 Platform screen doors local control panel
The device to control the platform screen door at one side.
2.0.7 Platform screen doors central control panel
The control center of platform screen door in a station, including monitoring equipment and unit controller.
2.0.8 Local control box
The device to control a set of sliding door locally.
2.0.9 Platform screen doors emergency control panel
The device to control the platform screen door at one side in emergency case.
2.0.10 Push bar lock
The device to manually open the emergency escape door at the track side and the platform end door in the equipment area.
