1.0.1 This Code is formulated with a view to strengthening the maintenance for urban road, keeping the functions of road facilities, standardizing the technical standards, improving the service level of urban road, ensuring the intactness and safe operation of road, as well as making the maintenance management for urban road more scientific, normalized and institutionalized.
1.0.2 This Code is applicable to the maintenance for urban road which is put into service after completion acceptance. Maintenance for bridge in urban road shall meet the requirements of the current national standard "Technical code of maintenance for city bridge" CJJ 99.
1.0.3 Maintenance for urban road shall not only comply with the requirements stipulated in this Code but also comply with those in the current relevant ones of the nation.
