1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, tests, inspection rules, marking and packaging of the insulation piercing connector for rated voltages up to 10kV.
This standard is applicable to the insulation piercing connectors used for aerial insulated wire, bridge and culvert, adit, tunnel, mineral drive and wire pipe shaft with rated voltage for rated voltage up to 10KV.
