1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements of the welding on dissimilar steel for power plant.This standard applies to the welding work on dissimilar steels of the welded compression components or of the non-compression components on the pressure-bearing components by adopting with such welding methods as shielded metal arc welding, argon tungsten-arc welding, consumable electrode gas shielded welding, flux-cored wire electric arc welding and submerged arc welding.
