1 Scope
This standard specifies dimension, shape, technical requirements, test method, regulation of inspection, packing, marking, and certification, etc. of stainless steel bar (rounds, squares, flats, hexagons, and octagons, hereinafter referred to as steel bar).
This standard is applicable to hot roll and forged stainless steel bar with dimension (diameter, side length, thickness or opposite side distance, hereinafter referred to as dimension) is no larger than 250mm. Negotiate by the parties, it may also be provided to hot roll and forged stainless steel bar with dimension is larger than 250mm.
