1 Subject Content and Application Scope
This standard specifies Class 1E electric valve actuator in PWR nuclear power plant (hereinafter referred to as "electric actuator") in terms of basic requirements for design, manufacture, test and acceptance.
This standard is applicable to electric actuator matched with nuclear safety valve in PWR nuclear power plant (including gate valve, stop valve, throttle valve, diaphragm valve, ball valve and butterfly valve in multiple and partial rotary motion).
