This standard specifies the design requirements, fundamental function and characteristic, test methods and procedures of fixed monitoring device for individual surface contamination.
This standard is applicable to the fixed monitoring device for the whole individual body surface.
For the monitoring and warning device for radioactive contamination of individual surface (with or without close) stated in this standard, technical condition is only applicable to devices that the whole body, hands or feet of users present to the front of detector and do not need to take any action. But they are not applicable to the devices that users or other personnel move detector on monitoring surface or users rush through monitor.
