In this standard, the products are divided into superior products, first-class products and qualified products according to GB/T 12707-1991 Directives for the Grading of Industrial Product Quality. According to the product characteristics, fiber content deviation, dry weight deviation per square meter, marble bursting strength, dimensional change rate in water washing, color fastness and appearance quality are assessed in this standard.
This standard was proposed by State Bureau of Textile Industry.
This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Technical Subcommittee on Knitwear of the National Technical Committee on Textiles of the Standardization Administration of China.
Finished Knitted Fabric
1 Scope
This standard specifies the specification, requirements, appearance quality inspection, test methods, inspection rules and product marking of finished knitted fabric
This standard is applicable to bleached and dyed, printed and yarn-dyed warp and weft knitted fabric, excluding polyester knitted fabric, wool knitted fabric and silk knitted fabric.

3 Specification
The specification of the finished knitted fabric is written as: yarn linear density × dry weight per square meter × width, where, the linear density is expressed in Tex, if the yarns with different specifications are interwoven, they shall be arranged based on the proportion from large to small, with a multiple sign among them; the dry weight per square meter is expressed in grams; the width refers to the width for a single layer, expressed in centimeters.
4 Requirements
4.1 The quality of finished knitted fabric includes inherent quality and appearance quality. The requirements for inherent quality are shown in Table 1, including 5 items, i.e. fiber content deviation, dry weight deviation per square meter, marble bursting strength, dimensional change rate in water washing and color fastness; the requirements for appearance quality are shown in Table 2, including 7 items, i.e. local defects, scattered defects, width deviation, grain skew, color difference with the standard specimen, color difference of the same roll and color difference of the same batch. Local defects are counted in the unit of piece, and the limit requirements for each piece ar shown in Table 3.
4.2 Finished knitted fabric is in the unit of roll and is classified into superior products, first-class products and qualified products according to the assessment on the lowest item in inherent quality and appearance quality.
4.3 The inherent quality is graded by batch according to the assessment on the lowest item of the five; the appearance quality is graded by roll according to the assessment on the lowest item of the seven.
