1 Scope
This standard specifies all the technical features of corduroy wear such as its requirements, detection methods, inspection and classification rules as well as marking, packaging, transport and storage.
This standard is applicable to garments with woven corduroy as main shell fabric, with reference to those with velveteen as the main shell fabric.
This standard is not applicable to garments for infants aged 36 months and below.

barring
the strip defect (in different shade of color and luster) continuously or intermittently scattered in the entire garment (including the cut pile barring)
3.2
brush rail
unflat fabric surface due to excessive or insufficient brushing
3.3
crinkled finishing
unrecoverable wrinkles of the fabric caused during the production process
