1 Scope
This standard specifies the maximum allowable values for energy consumption per kilogram and water consumption, evaluating values for energy conservation and water conservation, and water efficiency grades of electric washing machines.
This standard is applicable to household electric washing machines (hereinafter referred to as "washing machines") with rated washing capacity of or less than 13 kg.
This standard is not applicable to washing machines with rated washing capacity of or less than 1.0 kg and single container washing machines without extracting function or stirring washing machine. As for washing and dry-cleaning machines, only the laundering function is assessed.
