1 Subject Content and Application Scope
This Standard specifies the technical requirements and inspection and acceptance methods for the white oil for food-machinery.
This Standard is applicable to the white oil for food-machinery whose base oil is the mineral oil and is prepared by adding proper amount of food grade additives after being refined.
This product is suitable for the lubrication of mechanical equipments for food processing which are not in direct contact with food, including the lubrication of processing equipments of food industry such as the grain and oil processing, fruit and vegetable processing and dairy processing etc.
This product is divided into six designations: 10#, 15#, 22#, 32#, 46# and 68#, according to the kinematic viscosity at 40℃.
