This method is applicable to the determination of the kinematic viscosity of liquid petroleum products (here refers to the Newtonian liquid), in: ; generally, it is in actual practice. The dynamic viscosity can be acquired through multiplying the kinematic viscosity by the density of liquid.
Note: According to the liquid tested in this method, the ratio of shearing stress to shear rate is a constant, that is: the viscosity has nothing to do with the shearing stress and shear rate, such kind of liquid is named as Newtonian liquid.
