Products belong to this standard are applicable to the automobile gears used under the working conditions of high-speed impact duty, high-speed and low-torque, and low-speed and high-torque. They are particularly applicable to the hypoid gear drive axles of passenger cars and various other automobiles, and also to manual transmission.
The gear oil is classified into designations of 75W, 80W/90, 85W/90, 85W/140, 90 and 140 etc. according to its viscosity.
