1 Scope
This standard specifies terms and definitions, general requirements, requirements and test methods, test rules and mark of smoke detectors-line detectors using an optical light beam.
This standard is applicable to the smoke detectors-line detectors using an optical light beam that are installed and used for general industry and civil building and detect the smoke with the dimmer principle with 1m~100m optical path length between the opposed components and no larger than 10m minimum optical path length as well as the same with detecting thermal perturbation function. The smoke detectors-line detectors using an optical light beam with special requirements installed in other environment shall comply with this standard except the special requirements specified by the relevant standards.
