1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic parameters and model preparation method, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and preparation requirements for operating instructions for the components of high-pressure carbon dioxide fire extinguishing systems.
This standard is applicable to the components of high-pressure carbon dioxide fire extinguishing systems.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.

system working pressure
pressure at the outlet of vessel valve on fire extinguishing agent cylinder set
3.2
filling density
ratio of the mass of the fire extinguishing agent in storage vessel to the volume of the vessel, in kg/m3
3.3
storage pressure
equilibrium pressure in the storage vessel which is filled with fire extinguishing agent per the maximum filling density and is placed at +20℃, with respect to carbon dioxide fire extinguishing agent cylinder set
equilibrium pressure in the storage vessel which is filled with fire extinguishing agent per the maximum filling pressure or filling density and is placed at +20℃, with respect to expellant gas cylinder set

maximum working pressure
equilibrium pressure in the storage vessel which is filled with fire extinguishing agent per the maximum filling density and is placed at upper limit of the working temperature range, with respect to carbon dioxide fire extinguishing agent cylinder set
