1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, model designation, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, labels and instructions for use of low pressure carbon dioxide extinguishing system and components.
This standard is applicable to carbon dioxide extinguishing systems in which carbon dioxide extinguishing agents are stored at low pressure.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
low pressure carbon dioxide extinguishing system
extinguishing system in which carbon dioxide extinguishing agent is stored at -20~-18℃
3.2
extinguishing agent storage device
device for storing extinguishing agent, which is composed of extinguishing agent storage vessel, maintenance valve, filling valve, balance valve, over pressure relief device, pressure control display device, extinguishing agent quantity display device, refrigerating system, etc.
3.3
master control valve
valve on the extinguishing agent storage vessel for sealing extinguishing agent, controlling the release of extinguishing agent, which may be automatically opened and closed
3.4
filling valve
valve connected with the extinguishing agent storage vessel and used for filling carbon dioxide extinguishing agent
3.5
maintenance valve
valve which is able to cut off the communication between the maintained components and the extinguishing agent storage vessel
balance valve
valve connected with the extinguishing agent storage vessel and used for balancing gas and liquid phase when the carbon dioxide extinguishing agent is filled
