1 Scope
This standard specifies the energy efficiency limited value, energy saving evaluation of estimate, test methods and rules of the ballast for tubular fluorescent lamp.
This standard is applicable to the 220V, 50 Hz ac power supply, the independent type inductive ballast and electronic ballast (hereinafter referred to as ballast) used in tubular fluorescent lamp which nominal power is between 18 W~40W.
This standard is not applicable to non advanced ignition electronic ballast.
