1 Scope
This standard specifies the safety technology and industrial hygiene requirements for ore dressing plants, covering plant siting and plant layout, ore dressing process and tailings facilities, transportation, lifting, electricity, fire protection, etc. of ore dressing plants.
This standard is applicable to ore dressing plants in metallurgical (including nonferrous metals), chemical, building materials and other industries.
This standard may be referenced to for some enterprises adopting ore dressing process.
This standard is not applicable to coal preparation plants and uranium mining and metallurgy plants in nuclear industry.
