1 Scope
This part of GB 18241 specifies the terms and definitions, classification and product mark, requirements, test methods, inspection rules as well as marking, packaging, transport and storage of rubber anticorrosion lining (hereafter referred to as “lining”).
This part applies to the rubber lining that is laminated to the to-be-lined equipment to prevent the equipment from being corroded by the medium.
2 Normative references
The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only the edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document (including any amendments) applies.
GB/T 528 Rubber, vulcanized or thermoplastic - Determination of tensile stress-strain properties
GB/T 531.1 Rubber vulcanized or thermoplastic - Determination of indentation hardness - Part 1: Durometer method (Shore hardness)
GB/T 1690 Rubber, vulcanized or thermoplastic — Determination of the effect of liquids
GB/T 7760 Rubber, vulcanized or thermoplastic - Determination of adhesion to a rigid substrate - 90 degrees peel method

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
heat-vulcanized rubber lining
lining formed by vulcanizing in a heated manner the unvulcanized rubber plate which is pasted on the to-be-lined equipment with adhesive
3.2
pre-vulcanized rubber lining
lining formed by pasting the rubber plate vulcanized in advance on the to-be-lined equipment with adhesive
3.3
self-curing rubber lining
lining formed by vulcanizing under natural condition the unvulcanized rubber plate which is pasted on the to-be-lined equipment with adhesive
