This standard replaces GB 19147-2013 Automobile Diesel Fuels (V).
In addition to a number of editorial changes, the following technical changes have been made with respect to GB 19147-2013.
——"It is forbidden to add methanol in automobile diesel fuels manually" is added (see 5.1; 5.1 of 2013 edition);
——The technical requirements and test methods for automobile diesel fuels (III) (see Table 1 of 2013 edition) are deleted and technical requirements and test method for automobile diesel fuels (VI) (see Table 3) are added;
——The flash point of 5#, 0# and -10# automobile diesel fuels is improved to 60℃ at least (see Tables 1 and 2; Tables 2 and 3 of 2013 edition);
——The arbitration test method for 10% carbon residue on residuum is modified to that specified in GB/T 17144;
——The arbitration test method for polycyclic
aromatic hydrocarbon contents is modified to that specified in SH/T 0806;
——The determination method as specified in NB/SH/T 0916 for fatty acid methyl ester contents are added and adopted as arbitration test methods;
Chapter 9 "Standard Implementation" is modified (see Chapter 9; Chapter 9 of 2013 edition).

1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, sampling, marking, packaging, transportation and storage as well as safety of automobile diesel fuels and the standard implementation.
This standard is applicable to the automobile diesel fuels used for compression ignition engine automobile, made from petroleum or added with additive which can improve the service performance. This standard is not applicable to the automobile diesel fuels with biodiesel fuel as the blending component.

For the purposes of this document, the following term and definition apply.

the content of total aromatic hydrocarbon deducted by that of simple aromatic hydrocarbon.
4 Product Classification
Automobile diesel fuels are classified into six designations according to solidification point:
5# automobile diesel fuels: applicable to be used in the regions with the hazard rate of 10% and the minimum temperature above 8℃;
0# automobile diesel fuels: applicable to be used in the regions with the hazard rate of 10% and the minimum temperature above 4℃;
-10# automobile diesel fuels: applicable to be used in the regions with the hazard rate of 10% and the minimum temperature above -5℃;
-20# automobile diesel fuels: applicable to be used in the regions with the hazard rate of 10% and the minimum temperature above -14℃;
-35# automobile diesel fuels: applicable to be used in the regions with the hazard rate of 10% and the minimum temperature above -29℃;
-50# automobile diesel fuels: applicable to be used in the regions with the hazard rate of 10% and the minimum temperature above -44℃;

5 Technical Requirements and Test Methods
5.1 The additives used in automobile diesel fuels shall be free from recognized adverse effects and shall be used according to the recommended suitable dosage. Automobile diesel fuels shall not contain any additives and pollutants that may lead to automobile’s failing of normal operation. It is forbidden to add methanol in automobile diesel fuels manually.
5.2 The technical requirements and test methods for automobile diesel fuels (IV), automobile diesel fuels (V) and automobile diesel fuels (VI) are detailed in Table 1, Table 2 and Table 3 respectively.
