This standard specifies the energy efficiency rating criteria, limited values of energy efficiency, evaluating values of energy conservation, test methods and inspection rules for common high-pressure sodium vapour lamps (hereinafter referred to as high-pressure sodium vapour lamps).
This standard is applicable to the high-pressure sodium vapour lamps used for indoor and outdoor illumination with transparent glass envelope, which the power range is 50W~l000W and is equipped with corresponding ballast and trigger with normal start-up and burning point within 92%~106% of rated voltage.
