1 Scope
This standard specifies minimum allowable values of the energy efficiency and energy efficiency grades, evaluating values of energy conservation, test methods and inspection rules for household and similar induction cookers (hereinafter referred to as the "induction cookers").
This standard is applicable to the induction cookers with one or more heating unit(s) at the rated power of 700 W~3,500 W.
This standard does not apply to commercial induction cooker, power frequency induction cooker and planoconcave induction cooker.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.

Heating unit
The independent heating part on the worktop of induction cooker where wares can be placed

Standard pan
The test vessel used for the test, with the materials and dimensions detailed in Appendix A.
