1 Scope
This clause of GB 21551.1-2008 is replaced by the following.
This part of GB 21551 specifies the scope, terms and definitions, technical requirements and markings for the household and similar electrical appliances (electric washing machine) with eliminating bacterial functions.
This part is applicable to household and similar full-automatic electric washing machines with antibacterial and eliminating bacterial functions, as indicated in the appliance or instruction manual.
Note: General-purpose single and double drum washing machines are not applicable to this part.

process of using ozone to eliminate most or all residual microorganisms

process of using silver ions to eliminate most or all residual microorganisms
3.103
high temperature eliminating bacterial
process of using heating washing water heated by electric heating elements to eliminate most or all residual microorganisms.
Note: High temperature means washing temperature ≥80°C.
