1 Scope
This part of GB 21551 specifies the scope, terms and definitions, technical requirements and labels of antibacterial and cleaning function for household and similar electrical appliances (hereinafter referred to as "household appliances").
This part is applicable to the all kinds of household appliances with antibacterial and cleaning function, other electrical appliances may make reference to this part.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this part of GB 21551, the following terms and definitions apply.

Electronic and electrical appliances used by non-electrical professional at household, tenement and similar place.
3.2
Antibacterial
The adoption of chemical or physical methods for killing bacteria or disturbing the growth, reproduce and activity of bacteria.
