1 Scope This standard specifies the measurement methods and inspection rules for the energy efficiency grades, minimum allowable values of energy efficiency, evaluating values of energy conservation, energy efficiency and passive standby power of flat panel televisions. This standard is applicable to LCDTV and PDPTV (hereinafter referred to as flat panel television) with main functions of receiving, demodulating and displaying the wired, satellite or other analog and digital signals under the normal operation of network voltage; it is also applicable to displayers circulated as TV products without tuners. 2 Normative References The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document.
