GB 25502-2024 Minimum allowable values of water efficiency and water efficiency grades for water closets
1 Scope
This document specifies the water efficiency grade, technical requirements, test method and test device for water closets.
This document is applicable to water closets installed on cold water pipelines in building facilities, with water as the main flushing medium, capable of water sealing and incapable of warm water cleaning.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 6952, GB/T 9195, GB 28379 and the following apply.

maximum allowable flushing water consumption of the water closets which comply with the stated executive standard under specified test conditions
4 Water efficiency grade for water closets
Water efficiency grades for water closets are classified into 3 grades, among which Grade 1 represents the highest water efficiency. The flushing water consumption of water closets of various grades shall be as specified in Table 1.
The water efficiency grade for baby water closets, that is, the height of the seat from the ground is less than 370 mm, are classified into 2 grades, among which Grade 1 represents higher water efficiency. For the baby water closets, the flushing water consumption of various water efficiency grades shall comply with Grade 1 or 2 water efficiency in Table 1.
5 Technical requirements
5.1 Basic requirements
The water closets shall meet the requirements of the stated executive standard.
