3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions specified in GB 15308 and those listed below apply. For the convenience of application, some terms and definitions specified in GB 15308 are listed below.
3.1
Class A foam extinguishing agent
Foam extinguishing agent primarily applicable to extinguishing Class A fire.
3.2
Characteristic values
Parameter values of physical and chemical performance of foam concentrate and foam solution proposed by the supplier of Class A foam extinguishing agent.
3.3
Foam concentrate
Concentrated liquid which, where mixed with water in the appropriate concentration, gives a foam solution, and is also known as concentrate.

Foam solution
Solution prepared with foam concentrate and water according to the specified concentration, which is also known as foam mixture.
