1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, statistical scope and calculation method, energy conservation management and measures for the norm of energy consumption per unit product of ethylene plant (hereinafter referred to as the “energy consumption”).
This standard is applicable to the calculation and assessment of energy consumption for ethylene plants that use petroleum hydrocarbons as raw materials to produce ethylene, propylene, mixed C4, cracked gasoline, hydrogen and other products through steam thermal cracking, quenching, compression and separation processes, as well as the energy consumption control for new projects.
