1 General Provisions
1.0.1 This code is formulated in order to guarantee that the design of compressed air station can ensure the safe production, environmental protection, energy conservation and working condition improvement and achieve advanced technology, economy and rationality.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to the design of the newly constructed, renovated and extended compressed air stations which are installed with such electric-powered reciprocating air compressor, diaphragm air compressor, screw air compressor and centrifugal air compressor with working pressure less than or equal to 42MPa as well as the design of compressed air pipelines of such stations.
This code is not applicable to the design of compressed air stations and their compressed air pipelines in the pit, hole and other special places.
1.0.3 Except that the production fire risk classification of the compressed air stations fully composed of oil-free reciprocating air compressor, diaphragm air compressor or the screw air compressor without oil injection shall be Class E, and the production fire risk classification of other compressed air stations shall be Class D.
1.0.4 The design of renovated and extended compressed air stations and compressed air pipelines shall take full advantage of the original buildings, structures, equipment and pipelines.
1.0.5 In addition to the requirements specified in this code, the design of compressed air stations and their compressed air pipelines shall also meet those specified in the current relevant standards of the nation.
2 Location of Compressed Air Station
2.0.1 The location of compressed air station in the plant (mine) shall be determined through technical and economic scheme comparison according to the following factors:
1 Being close to the air load center;
2 Reasonable power and water supply;
3 Possibility of extension;
