1.0.1 This code was formulated with a view to regulating the monitoring of building foundation pit engineering, ensuring monitoring quality, providing criteria for information construction and optimum design, achieving reliable achievement, advanced technology, economy and rationality, ensuring building foundation pit safety and protecting surrounding environment of building foundation pit.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to monitoring of ordinary soil and soft soil building foundation pit engineering, and it is not applicable to the monitoring of special soil such as rock building foundation pit engineering and frozen soil, expansive soil and collapsible loess and of building foundation pit engineering of buildings in corrosive environment.
1.0.3 Building foundation pit engineering design plan, the geotechnical engineering conditions of the construction site, surrounding environment conditions and construction scheme shall be comprehensively considered for monitoring of building foundation pit engineering to formulate reasonable monitoring program, organize carefully and implement monitoring.
1.0.4 The monitoring of building foundation pit engineering shall not only meet the requirements of this code, but also shall comply with those in the current relevant standards of the nation.
