GB 5100-1994 Welded steel gas cylinders
In this standard, the international standard ISO 4706:1989 Refillable welded steel gas cylinders is adopted for welded steel gas cylinders with water volume no larger than 150L, albeit in a non-equivalent fashion.
1 Subject content and application scope
This standard specifies the basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packing, transport, storage, etc. of welded steel gas cylinders "hereinafter referred to as "steel cylinders").
This standard is applicable to steel cylinders designed for the repeated filling of low-pressure liquefied gas or dissolved gas, which are used under normal environment temperature (-40℃~60℃), with hydraulic test pressure no greater than 7.5MPa (gauge pressure) and nominal volume of 10L~1,000L.
This standard is also applicable to steel cylinders used for the repeated filling of industrial liquefied petroleum gases specified in GB 11174.
