This standard specifies color and typeface on exterior of gas cylinders as recognition sign of filled gas.
This standard is applicable to mobile reusable gas cylinders at nominal working pressure of greater than or equal to 30MPa and nominal cubage of less than or equal to 1,000L.
This standard is not applicable to fire extinguishing gas cylinders, vehicular fuel gas cylinders or gas cylinders attached to machinery equipment.
Imported gas cylinders should be coated (modified or recoated) colour mark in accordance with this standard.
