This standard specifies toothpaste in terms of terms and definitions, requirements, test method, inspection rules and marking.
This standard is applicable to toothpastes for oral cleaning and care.

Dentifrice preparation presented in the form of a paste, cream or gel whose main constituents are abrasive, humectant, binder, foamer, flavouring, water and other additives (including agents for oral health maintenance).
