1 Scope
This standard specifies requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of proply p-hydroxybenzoate.
This standard is applicable to proply p-hydroxybenzoate, which is a food additive prepared by esterification of PHBA and propanol using sulfuric acid as the catalyst. This product is used as the preservative for foods, drugs and cosmetics.

3.1 Properties: white crystal powder, odorless or slight special aroma, slightly bitter taste, burning.
